About your midwife

Stephnie Is the owner of Root to Rise Midwifery.  She comes to your birth experience with a firm belief in everyone’s right to self determination.  Stephnie views herself as a keeper of birth knowledge and wisdom, holding this information sacredly to share with and empower those she serves so that they can make informed choices throughout their pregnancy and birthing time.  Stephnie views herself as a guardian of your birth, honoring your birth space while offering supportive, respectful, discerning care. A mother to four biological children and several beloved bonus children, Stephnie brings a wealth of personal and professional experience. Her background as a former social worker, doula, childbirth educator, and midwife allows her to offer compassionate, well-rounded care rooted in both tradition and evidence.
